This sanctuary is sheltering the endangered Himalayan musk deer for years and is enriched with natural beauty. Perched at a height of 3800 ft and covered with dense forests, Kedarnath wildlife/ musk deer sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. One can see the perfect amalgamation of beauty and rare species if visiting in the season time between November to June.

5) Chandrashila Trek:
Another popular trek in Chopta that can be done throughout the year and gives a heavenly panoramic 360-degree view of Himalayan peaks. This trek route will take you through green meadows, deodar forests and the majestic Tungnath shrine.

6)Ukimath:
About 1 hour distance from Chopta, Ukimath is a pilgrimage site visited by a large number of travellers looking for serenity and tranquillity. Seated at a height of 4200 ft this small and calm hill station is home to Lord Kedarnath and Lord Madhyamaheswar in the winters.

7)Deoria Tal:
