3. Jampui Hills, Northern Tripura:
Jampui Hills is the highest hill station in the state of Tripura. Direct buses are available from Agartala for North Tripura. Even local passenger trains are available. There are a lot of hotels present in Agartala. Jampui Hills is placed at an average altitude of 3000 feet above sea level. Jampui Hill Ranges provide a beautiful scenic view of the states of Tripura and Mizoram. Orange Festival of Tripura is the annual festival in North Tripura held in November. 4. Ambassa, Tripura:
Ambassa in Tripura is highly rich in culture and history. There are five trains available to reach Ambassa. Also, Ambassa is 85 km from Agartala, and it takes three hours to reach by a private vehicle from your hotel in Agartala. For those who want to explore the culture of ancient Indian tribes at a place with a green cover and warm locals, Ambassa is the place. At the site, one can visit Ujjayanta Palace, Rose Valley Park, Jagannath Temple, Chabimura, and Dumboor Lake. The best time to visit Ambassa is between November and February.
